Description

It may seems to you at the first look of this photo is that these two old people are crying!

Nope nope, these two old people who are my grandparents are rubbing their eyes, perhaps there had been  some dirt flying by or just a rash. And it was a great moment! AH, not really “great”, but “special”!

And how special is that? Firstly, they both do it separately and independently with each other.  “Hey, rub your eyes with me…”. Nah, they did not tell each other that!

And secondly, this is even more fascinating than the previous one. My grandfather is right – handed, and he rubbed his eyes by his left hand. On the contrary, my grandmother is left-handed and she rubbed her eyes by her right hand. Well, this is not actually about the hands, because sure they could only rub by the hands which were compatible with the itchy eyes. But that created an ironic. And I love this!

My parents do not like being photographed, otherwise, they always feel it uncomfortable if they know someone is trying to photograph them. They do not like being “old” and “ugly” in the photos and they think they would not know how to pose right!  But I wanted to photograph them badly, I tried every way to take photo of them without being noticed. But then, this time, my father said, take a photo for both of them, “seriously”! We need family photos, serious family photos!  They just sighed but still,  each carried out a chair to a place with good lighting as I demanded. And before I could take some “serious” pictures (just serious as much as they just looked at me with out blinking their eyes, haha), I got this one! And I was happy to death with the moment I caught!

OOOOh, missing you so much my “ông bà nội”.  I will be home soon to see you both!

Love you, ông bà nội của cháu!
