Description
Yes – I am back – Finally I am back.
I have been so busy with my new coming book – which will soon be revealed, it is not only a book with texts, it will be a book with 83 photos. It will be a beautiful book I hope, it will be….
I have been busy taking photos and taking care of different sites, been so popular on Facebook so unexpectedly, that thing made me busy all the time as well. I am working on computer and imagine new mail notifications come every minute, I can not resist of checking the mails whole day, hahaha.
But I am back, I am back back back.
With a new wedding set.
I think lot of you have seen my wedding set for Hannah, you can either check it here

Or on facebook with hundreds of comments, hehe ( I can see how people love weddings). That set was an engagement set, but this set I am about to show you is a set on actual wedding ceremony, of another couple.
Of course, photos on this day are not like engagement ones. The couples do not have time to pose for you; you can not take photos of just only them, but the relatives, friends, flowers, the priests, the food….or whatever you must see on that day. And since they do not pose for you, the photos are not that kind of “artistic” senses….But well, come on, every little things that happened, will create something beautiful for you to keep (if you know how to…)
I did not know the bride, and since I said I only take wedding photos to those I have good feelings, to those I think I can do good jobs. This freelance job is really cool. Right now, I do not need money that much for living, but to travel, and to buy camera equipments and for my “cool” projects. So I have time and inspiration to do careful jobs. I want to work really hard on these images, with my thoughts and my creations, not just because of money, it is my passion, it is just what I want! So, I am a kind of different to those who do the services just for money, I want better photos than them, hahahaha.
I met the bride one week before her actual ceremony. We met, and we talked, just after two words, I thought I had already fallen in love with her. She has wide eyes, wide smile….and ah…dimples! I was surprised to learn she was about to get married to her 10 years boyfriend, and she is just as my age. I told her: “Hey, that is a pity, you’ve got only one life, why waste it that way?”. She smiled: “I know, hahaha”. But then deep down inside, I was badly jealous, how could I find a man who can love me that long out there?
But I can tell myself a little bit, she is so wonderful, any man would keep her for life! Ah, me, I am not that wonderful, hehehehe.
And I had 14 hours spending at her wedding. I came to her house quite early while she and her family were still so busy preparing for the engagement part. (This part is s Vietnamese tradition – the groom and his family will arrive at the bride’s house and ask her parents for “permission” to take the bride away. Usually in Vietnam we do it some weeks earlier before the actual wedding ceremony but these families did all together in one day). At this ceremony, the bride will wear “ao dai”, the traditional dress. In order to take the bride away, both families must carry out some traditional procedures. What a beautiful experience to witness such a ceremony in this foreign country.
And later, will be in the church! This was my first time really attending a wedding at the church. The feeling was great. I could never forget the moments the bride was holding her father’s arm walking to the aisle, the church’s music was so wonderful that I thought how I wanted to be in that position someday (even though I am not a Catholic). Such a special feeling of happiness was running through my body. It’s a long time since I had that feeling; that marriage is that wonderful.
They were busy filming what was happening at the church, and they had another camera guy, so I did not dare to jump up to take photos. But I am glad that I caught some moments, some really great moments that I hope on my wedding day, someone will help me to do the same!
Yes, I had over a thousand photos which I can not show you all but just to share you just some here. I am still doing the retouching and selection. Thousand photos, mostly indoors (well, honestly I do outdoor better); there are wonderful moments, beauty, people, laughs, flowers, family, friends……………………….but best of all – I WAS INVITED TO A WONDERFUL WEDDING. I love the bride so much for how kind she is to me, I love her family, her relatives….everything…..I wish her and her husbands will be happily ever after…..
And you know what; she paid for my coming trip. I am about to have one month trip flying around the US. And she paid this trip for me. How I love this job!
