Description
My first Halloween was funny. I did not have any costumes on. I simply thought it was a day of free candies. You just go knocking at people’s doors and they will give you lot of FREE candies. Every times someone opened the door, they asked me: “Hey, where is your costume?”. And I felt a little embarrassed, but the candies were too good to be embarrassed!

Next year, I did not have money to buy costumes and this has never been my mom’s tradition, she did not care. So I had an idea, I put on a garbage bag, drew something funny on my face. Well, that was enough to ask for candies without being embarrassed.
As I grew up, I could not go around asking for candy anymore. But I love it to hear the sounds of the door bell, there are some cute lovely kids out there dressing as angels or supermen. That makes me think of my childhood, and a little joy is running through my soul.
I love pumpkin. I love its color. Everytime I see a pumpkin somewhere, I think of Halloween and its beautiful season. Autumn is always the best season to me. You’ll see what I am talking about when I post the next entries. Hold your breath!

This year, I decided to attend the Halloween Parade for my Halloween. This is the biggest Halloween Parade in the US. People flee to New York, dress in all kinds of costume and make the longest Halloween Parade on Manhattan streets.
I had never attended one until this year. And well, It was lot of fun!
People tried to make the most creative costumes as they could. The funnier and better acting, the more cheering they would get from the people along the way.
The streets have never been more cheerful and fun than any other days of the year. Corpses, angels, devils, monster, bloody butchers, Michael Jackson or….securities are everywhere. Sometimes when we see a police standing, I asked my brother: “Is it a real police?”. He said: “Can’t know”. Haha.
The trains were extremely crowded. Blood was everywhere. But it did not look scary, it looked so funny. My brother tried to record everything and the aftermath is that we have so many videos; we don’t even have time to select any to post on blog.
And it was a rainy Halloween. Heavy rain, but that did not make people fewer on the streets. Ghosts, devils, corpses and Michael Jackson…were still walking, except you must need an umbrella even if you are an angel.
Later, we were freaked out by a guy who dressed in “nude” costume, with a look- real erected penis. That will be the scariest costume of the Parade. (Others were just…funny)
See the whole album and comments here, it is posted on my facebook’s fan page so the resolution is bad!

The subway was extremely crowded with all kinds of corpse, dead people, monsters, ghosts….how…funny (not scary)

It rained dogs and cats. Even if you are a ghost, a dead body or an angel, you still need umbrellas!
