About Me

Hello folks,

If you’re reading this page, you’re either deeply interested in knowing more about a fascinating person such as I am or you’re browsing through the net out of your own boredom. Either way, while you’re here, let me take you for a tour over some facts about me:

Basic info:

Name: Hà Kin ( of which KIN stands for: Kind – Intelligent – Nasty ). You can either call me Hà Kin or Kin!

Age: 27

Ethnic background: Vietnamese.

Current residence: New York city.

I am going to be here for a couple of years, then I would probably move to other places, don’t know yet whether it’s gonna be Europe, Africa or Antarctica, I just know that I will move!

I can:

- Sing (ok, I don’t say well or…not well, but I can sing!)

- Paint: When I’m in a good mood, I paint by my right hands. Bad mood – left hands. Other moods: both hands. You can find those paintings on my blog!

- Take photos: www.hakinkin.com

- Play instruments like: Piano; Mono – chord (đàn bầu), a traditional Vietnamese instrument; Bamboo flute…(Again, I don’t say well or…not well, but I can play!)

- Do other functions like a normal person, except two things:

1) My IQ ranges from 50 to 170, depend on my mood, and

2) I can love a man faithfully!

I am now:

- A student of ICP (International Center of Photography).

- Doing some TA and internship in schools, magazines and studios.

- Photographer/Correspondent of United Nations NGO – NYAARR

Scope: Covered all UN-NGO NYA events, photos & interviews

- A freelance photographer.

- Traveling where and whenever I have chance!

I wish:

- Someone would hire me to travel; I will trade back with great photos and awesome reports.

- Someone would realize my potentials and invest me to become a full student in a great Photography school!

- I could become a great photographer!

Achievements:

- Beside photography works published on magazines, websites, calendars and won certain photography prizes that I don’t even remember the names. I am having (or had had):

1) A book that ranked at number 1 best seller among the top 10 books of Vietnam in 2007. It was and is also the first book included an audio CD in the history of Vietnam publishing industry. The book is called: “New York love story”, a self – love story!

2) 1 of 10 hottest bloggers of Vietnam, known as Ha Kin, the site now has reached to over 4 millions page view; its contents are photos and writing.

3) Over 30 Press articles about myself! Google “Hà Kin”, you can find some, and if you can read in Vietnamese!

4) Something that can not tell you yet!
